The United States Olympic Committee has confirmed that it will bid to host the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. It will choose one host city from either Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco or Washington DC. The United States is the third country after Germany and Italy to officially launch a bidding process. September 2015 is the deadline for cities to make their applications with the host city being chosen in summer 2017. Gail Devers is a three-times Olympic sprint champion, and won two of those gold medals when the Games were held in Atlanta in 1996. She told Seth Bennett why the summer Olympics should go back to America for what would be a third time in 40 years. (Image: Gail Devers, Credit: AP)
