5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

Fiji is the world's happiest country, according to a new poll based on interviews with 64,000 people in 65 countries. The survey also found that global happiness is on the rise with 7 out of ten people saying they were happy. Iraq appeared as the least happy nation but the most unexpected finding was that a 84% of people questioned across Africa appeared to be content. Fiji topped the happiness ranks, where 90% of people said they were happy but what's their secret? Ram Chandar is chairman of the Fiji Cultural and Social Club. Ram said: "Bula is hello, good morning, bula is way of life. If you say Bula with full mouth open then you can see someone smiling straight away". This clip is originally from 5 live Breakfast on Tuesday 30 December 2014.
