He was also the man who persuaded the "exquisite" Kate Bush to wear the famous pink leotard on the cover of 'Wuthering Heights'. So what is life actually like as a rock and roll photographer? Mankowitz said he was treated like "one of the band" when he toured America with the Rolling Stones in 1965, even appearing on stage with them.
