Today

Available for over a year

Theory of Everything star Felicity Jones has reflected on her time on The Archers. She told Today's Justin Webb: "I was doing The Archers for 10 years. I started when I was 15 and finished when I was 25. I had a fantastic time doing it". On her portrayal of Jane Wilde Hawking in Theory of Everything she said: "There's something unique about Jane and Stephen Hawking. They were such intricate and wonderful people to play". "To get the Bafta nomination is fantastic, it was a film that we all cared so much about and we're looking forward to be all celebrating together". Jones agreed the idea of a film about The Archers was "a fantastic suggestion" and that "Meryl Streep could play Ruth". First broadcast Today programme 9 January 2014.
