Over a thousand dairy farmers wont be paid for their milk because of a financial crisis at the co-operative First Milk. David Handley, a dairy farmer and chairman of Farmers for Action, told Today: "dairy farming families are in a state of limbo". President of the NFU, Meurig Raymond, said it was "a symptom of the dairy industry...we've lost sixty dairy farmers in December alone". First broadcast Today programme 12 January 2015.
