The hit drama House of Cards is a modern remake of the '90s ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ series, written and created by Lord Dobbs. Asked whether Francis Urquhart, the main character in the original series, was based on a real life politician, Michael Dobbs told 5 live: : "I don't know of any prime minister, let alone president, who's actually murdered a journalist, although I know several who wish they had."
