Super Bowl Special: From Super Bowl to Super Hole

Not by the Playbook

Available for over a year

As the eyes of the world focus on Phoenix, Arizona this week for Super Bowl 49, there will be one other major sporting event taking place - the Phoenix Golf Open. However, the Phoenix Open is like no other, boasting something unique in sport - the world's only 'stadium hole'. With over 5,000 seats surrounding the entire edge of the 16th, the hole rivals a football stadium with its music and party atmosphere, but what does the wider golfing public think? Caroline Barker finds out if there really is "no party like a sixteenth party."
