Pensioner: Football's given me new lease of life at 70

5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

In a radically different approach to the beautiful game, Brighton & Hove Albion have hosted a walking football tournament for over 50-year-olds. Five professional clubs took part in the competition - building teams with players from their community. 70-year-old midfielder Terry Tribe represented Brighton and he told Phil Williams that he feels "rejuvenated" since he started playing the sport. Tribe also said that he didn't fall for an attempt by Brighton & Hove Albion manager Chris Hughton to put the ball between his legs. This clip is originally from Phil Williams on Wednesday 4 February 2015
