Woodward: Welsh anthem 'ambushed' England in 2013

5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

Clive Woodward believes the atmosphere at the Millennium Stadium clash in 2013 pushed England to defeat. Wales recorded a record win over England and secured the Six Nations title. Woodward said: "I've never thought a crowd can influence a game, whether we were at Twickenham or away from home, until that night. This blinking Welsh anthem started and I'm looking at the England players and you could see they weren't comfortable. I've never heard anything like that in all my life." This clip was taken from 5 live Sport on Thursday 5th February 2015.
