Ruddock: Singing Welsh fans worth an extra few points

5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

As the Six Nations begins, former Wales Rugby Union coach Mike Ruddock agrees with Stuart Lancaster's decision to keep the stadium roof open. He said "the Welsh are very vociferous" and love to sing and get behind their teams "so they're worth an extra few points". "If I was Stuart Lancaster, I would have done exactly the same and asked that the roof remains open. It'll be enough of a cauldron anyway without keeping the lid on it." This clip is originally from 5 live Breakfast on February 6 2015.
