Recently petitions seem to be the vehicle of choice for black issues to be recognised more widely. Last week Selma star David Oyelowo backed an online petition to be part of the primary curriculum. The petition was started by campaigner and 46-year-old mother Stephanie Pitter. Following the call for black history to be included on the school curriculum, the topic of entrepreneurs is now the subject of a drive for signatures. Adesola Akindele who runs an employment consultancy has launched a petition to make employability and entrepreneurial skills compulsory in schools. In this extract Adesola explains her motivations to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Derby’s Devon Daley.
