#SaveOurPhoneboxLibrary

Howard Bentham

Available for over a year

Residents using a red phone box as a library say they have been asked by BT to remove the books in case someone gets hurt. About 50 books are available to borrow from the working phone booth, on South Bar, Banbury, Oxfordshire. A notice written on BT headed paper says the company is "concerned the books and shelving could cause injury if they were to fall". But a BT spokesman, Graham Taylor, says a compromise can be made.
