Tyson: I knew I'd be world champion again after Douglas loss

5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

Mike Tyson says he knew he would become world champion again, despite being on the end of one of the biggest shocks in boxing history when he was knocked out by James 'Buster' Douglas in 1990. Tyson went into the bout undefeated and as the undisputed world heavyweight champion and was knocked-out by the 42-1 outsider in Tokyo in the 10th round. Tyson says he thought he had knocked Douglas out in the eighth round 'but the ref thought differently.' This clip is from 5 live sport Thursday 19 February 2015 and is originally part of an interview broadcast in January 2014.
