Walter Koenig has paid tribute to Leonard Nimoy, who has died at 83, saying 鈥'I don't think anybody could have played Spock the way he did, with the truth, the honesty and the reality of it all鈥. The 78-year-old actor played Pavel Chekov in Star Trek, and he says Leonard Nimoy was 鈥渁 very compassionate, very intelligent man鈥 who 鈥渓ived 83 really wonderful years鈥. 鈥淔rom where I'm sitting he had a terrific life: enormous success, high regard - somebody people really enjoyed knowing.鈥 鈥淭here are hundreds of actors that could have played any of the other roles, including Chekov. But there's nobody who could have brought the unique talent to Spock the way Leonard did.鈥 This clip is from Up All Night on Saturday 28 February 2015.
