Wikipedia's Jimmy Wales talks Government snooping and Bovril sandwiches

5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales reveals he is happy about the growth of the internet, alarmed about Government snooping, and confused about Bovril sandwiches. He told 5 live's Wake Up to Money that these are "exciting times for people in the developing world and their ability to access the internet". However he admits to being "alarmed" at the level of Government snooping and says the revelations have "really woken people up to the extent of the problem". The American, who lives in London, also revealed his least favourite sandwiches: "Anything that does not involve Chutney, Marmite or Bovril is tolerable...those are British abominations I can't get my head around." This clip was originally broadcast on Wake up to Money on March 4
