Pregnant TV presenter: trolling 'made me check my butt'

5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

A Canadian TV presenter, who was trolled for appearing on air while pregnant, has admitted to 5 live that it "has affected her." Kristi Gordon, who presents on Global BC News in Vancouver, said "it had changed a couple of things I'd done. I double checked myself in the mirror, and really had a good look at my butt. Is it maybe too big for on air? Maybe I should be covering up more." "I asked my husband to be honest and really let me know what I look like," she told Stephen Nolan. "It made me more self-conscious and a little bit embarrased, and wondering about my clothing. Despite the fact that I feel I'm a very confident person, I've received letters like this before, and they haven't bothered me, it still sinks in, to a certain degree." This clip is originally from Stephen Nolan on Friday 3 April 2015
