As part of the programme's series visiting 100 seats in the 100 days until the election, Zoe Conway visits a Screwfix DIY shop in Loughborough, a Conservative seat lost by Labour in the 2010 election. Tradesmen Paul Martin, pictured above, thinks the state of the economy matters more than other issues: “Anybody who’s going to vote this time really ought to sit down in their armchair… and have a serious think about the economy”. Jeff is a carpenter and joiner who, like many people, is distrustful of all politicians: “ There’s not enough honesty… you don’t quite get what it says on the tin”.
