A recent report entitled Dying for Justice which looks into African Caribbean and Asian deaths in custody, says more than 500 black and ethnic minority individuals have died in suspicious circumstances over the last 24 years. The report by the Institute of Race Relations also raises questions around accountability of the respective custody authorities and prosecution numbers. In this extract the report's co author Harmit Athwal talks to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ UK Black's Devon Daley.
