The World Tonight

Available for over a year

Four first-time voters from across London gave their reactions to the televised debate. Overall, they applauded Labour leader Ed Miliband's performance. Aadam (18) said "Labour was quite in my favour tonight. The SNP proved honourable but unfortunately I won't be able to vote for them." SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon made an impression too. Ellie (18) commented "I thought she related much more to people at home tonight than she did last time." Keesha (21) added "it's really inspiring to see three women up on stage and outnumbering the men for once." On David Cameron's absence, Kodjo (23) said "it was a tactically smart move... he would have had the most to lose." Ellie also said she would consider voting for the Conservatives in her constituency to keep UKIP out, despite her positive impressions of the leaders who took part in the debate.
