This year’s Ramadan and its timing means that in England daylight hours are at their longest. In recent years the long duration of fasting in the summer months has raised a debate amongst Muslim scholars. In this extract Paul Salahuddin, the co-director of the Association of British Muslims, speaks to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Stoke’s Ajmal Hussain about shorter fasting hours.
