Hip Hop poet, writer, actor, rapper are just some of the ways to describe Akala. He is also a regular commentator on politics and current affairs issues in Britain and beyond. As part of Refugee Week Akala headlined an event in London, in which he sought to challenge tabloid views and political rhetoric that some say targets immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers.
