Ten years ago Sarah had a severe episode of back pain, due to arthritis and sciatica. Despairing at hearing her mother in so much distress, her eldest daughter Alison sent her a book she found on the internet about healing arthritis without drugs. Cynical at first, Sarah decided to try the regime - within three months she was pain-free and has largely remained so. Viewed with scepticism by professionals, Sarah continues undaunted to share her experience and encourage others to try it, even self-printing a booklet. Alison says whether it is placebo-effect or not, her mother has had a new lease of life.
