Controversial sprinter Justin Gatlin has spoken about the 'good v evil' rivalry between himself and Usain Bolt as the duo prepare for the semi-finals of the men's 100m at the World Athletics Championships in Beijing. Gatlin, who has twice served doping suspensions, clocked 9.83 seconds to win his heat, while reigning world and Olympic champion Usain Bolt won his qualifying round in 9.96. When asked after the race about the portrayal of his rivalry with Bolt as being 'good v evil' Gatlin responded, "I don't see Usain Bolt saving anybody from house fires. I don't see myself plotting anything in a big cave with evil minions. "We're both runners and when it comes down to it, the IAAF and USADA are doing their job to secure everybody and make everybody happy and make everyone come out here and compete against each other equally," he added.
