How some of the world's most serious disease can be spread via water. The Anopheles mosquito, which spreads malaria needs water to breed. Dengue fever, river blindness and yellow fever also originate from water-borne carriers. The programme explores attempts to eradicate these diseases, for which there is no cure, by introducing clean water programmes.
