Improving shortwave reception through better use of extendable aerials or attaching an external aerial made of insulated wire. How long is a piece of wire? Ten metres or so will improve reception but, if you're being more exact, make your aerial about a quarter of the wavelength for the the frequency you are listening to. Plus, Nimbus Record's computer-free approach to removing the "sizzle" and "crackle" from old 78 rpm recordings.
