Aftar Singh, a Sikh living near Amritsar, was caught up in the Indian Army attack - known as Operation Blue Star - on the Golden Temple in 1984. Aftar's wife Surinder Kaur recalls trying to find him in hospital after the attack. He had been arrested, held in a camp and had been shot in the knee.
