My Century

Available for over a year

Ray Harryhausen was one of the pioneers of special effects used in movies. The man who brought animated dinosaurs to our screens remembers the film that first inspired him - King Kong. He began by using a 16mm camera in his father's garage and went on to develop an animation technique known as dynamation, used in films such as Jason and the Argonauts.
