"I dream about clean work, free from oppression, free from exploitation." At 21 Emi Sukarni led a strike against her employers at an underwear factory in Jakarta, Indonesia. The strike - over working conditions - was peaceful, but Emi lost her job. She describes her growing disillusion with bosses, and the humiliating conditions in a cheap labour force.
