Britain is "pretty rubbish" at major infrastructure projects, Chancellor George Osborne said and confirmed that a decision on airport expansion is expected by Christmas. The chancellor claims that the recent report by the Airports Commission said a new runway should be at either Heathrow or Gatwick and has "done a good job of forcing that debate", although it was read as fairly clearly recommending a third runway at Heathrow. "Britain has really got to raise its game," he adds.
