Guide to HIV tests and a visit to the testing centre at Mwanza in Tanzania. Also on the programme: the standards of sterilisation in hospital, safe shaving, training traditional birth attendants and babies acquiring HIV in the womb. Plus an indepth discussion on the complexities of breastfeeding for HIV positive women. Women could pass on HIV to their babies if they breastfeed or put their babies at a more immediate risk from other diseases and/or malnutrition.
