Malaria - The Search For A Cure

Health Matters

Available for over a year

A century after the discovery of malaria scientists are still struggling to beat it. Half the world's population is at risk of malarial infection. The future is looking bleak and the World Health Authority is predicting that 80 million more people will be infected with malaria by 2000. Drug resistance is a real problem and bed nets may not help older children develop immunity to the parasite.
