A report on the treatment of heart disease in Africa. Presenter Ania Lichtarowicz visits a specialist hospital in Mozambique, one of only a few to specialise in treating heart disease in Africa. Heart disease affects 5 per cent of all newborns in the country while acute rheumatic fever, caused by an uncontrolled tonsil infection is another common cause in children, but it can be prevented by surgery.
