Sikh man disrupts show with on-air protest about killings in Punjab

Nihal

Available for over a year

Jagmeet Singh, from the charity Basics of Sikhi, was on Sunday Morning Live talking about interfaith marriage, but just as they were about to go to another story, he interrupted the show to protest about the lack of reporting over attacks aimed at Sikhs in the Punjab. Opinions were divided on social media: some say they understand why he did what he did, but not the way he did it; others think it's the only way to get people to sit up and listen to what's going on in Punjab. We asked if this was the right way to raise awareness? Listen to the caller reaction.
