Anthony McMahon | Extended Interview

Shereen

Available for over a year

Anthony McMahon was just 11 when his brother died. He watched his brother John Paul being knocked down by a car and die from the injuries he received. This happened in 1984 but the effects have stayed with Anthony. Now he’s converted a flat in Rothesay into a family retreat, named in honour of John Paul, to help other bereaved parents and children. Shereen talks to him about his own difficult grieving process, the effect on the rest of his family and how he has been helping other families cope with similar devastating loss through the retreat he created in his brother’s name.
