Female pilots are rare. Only 4,000 women around the world are qualified pilots. British Pakistani, Zanab Farooq, is hoping to become one of the first females to become a commercial airline pilot. A poll by British Airways claims globally only 3% of pilots are women and she says ‘it’s possible to do anything’.
