China coal consumption heavily under-reported

The latest official figures reveal China has been under-reporting its coal consumption for years. In 2012, China used around 600m tons more coal than the government previously declared. In just a few weeks' time, world leaders gather in Paris to try and secure a universal consensus on measures to limit global warming. Mike Johnson asked the US economist Irwin Stelzer at the Hudson Institute in Washington what he thought about the latest news on China's use of coal.
