Personal pronouns - Jesse and Ollie

The Listening Project

Available for over a year

Ollie and Jesse are part on an enthusiastic group of young people who identify themselves along the transgender spectrum. The T-Group meets to discuss trans issues and to support the young people who belong. To the T-Group and to Jesse and Ollie, personal pronouns matter. Neither Jesse nor Ollie like being called ‘he’ or ‘she’. They refer to themselves as non-binary. For them, identities are important but they recognise that they are complicated too. They share their thoughts on gender and why misgendering matters. (This conversation was produced with the support of All About Trans and The Space)
