Gary Gillespie said Liverpool fans let Raheem Sterling off "lightly" when he appeared for Manchester City in their 4-1 defeat at the Etihad yesterday. Sterling joined City for £49m in one of the summer's longest transfer sagas, after three years at Liverpool. Former Liverpool defender Gillespie said the fans would have been "more vociferous" if the match had been played at Anfield.
