Was Andy Murray right to criticise the LTA?

5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

David Lloyd, former captain of the Great Britain Davis Cup team and Jo Durie, the former British number one have given their reaction to Andy Murray's criticisms of the Lawn Tennis Association. Following his Davis Cup win, Andy Murray said talking to the LTA, the governing body for tennis in Britain, about British tennis was "a waste of his time". David Lloyd told Dan Walker and Sarah Brett "over 30 million pounds every year given to us free of charge from the All England Club, which is the best tournament in the world, but we have the worst, for our quality of people, very poor standard". Whilst Jo Durie argued that we had to "incentivise these people all round the country, not just at the National Tennis Centre". This clip is originally from Afternoon Edition on Tuesday 1 December 2015.
