Model Fights Pressure to be Thin in Fashion

World Business Report

Available for over a year

Mega-rich designers and fashion publishers demand very thin models to appear on catwalks and magazine covers. But one model has had enough. Rosie Nelson was 21 and a size eight when she was told by a top agency to slim 'down to the bone'. Today she handed in a petition to the UK government calling for health checks in the modelling industry. Susannah Streeter caught up with her in Downing Street.
