Hope Grows for a Deal at Paris Climate Talks

World Business Report

Available for over a year

In Paris, there is mounting hope among some that a binding agreement will be reached to try and limit global warming by primarily shifting from oil, coal and gas to cleaner sources of energy. A draft deal was reached at the weekend but there are still many obstacles ahead. Foreign and environment ministers have now joined the talks at Le Bourget, just outside the French capital, after lower-level negotiators put the initial proposals on the table. We hear from Secretary General of the International Chamber of Commerce John Danilovich. (Photo: Icebergs break off the Vatnajoku Glacier, Iceland. Credit: Getty)
