Continuing this look at the UN resolution on Iraq's Weapons of Mass Destruction - Resolution 1441. The attempt to pass a second resolution fell apart in acrimony. No amount of clever drafting could hold things together when American objectives were fundamentally at odds with those of much of the rest of the international community.
