Books and magazines can prove to be a lucrative investment if you buy wisely. So where do you start and what should you be spending money on? Elizabeth Hotson visits Paris, stopping off at the world famous Shakespeare and Company book shop to take a tour of the antiquarian room. Rare items can cost thousands of dollars but for those with more modest funds an alternative is checking out the wares of the vintage magazine sellers by the banks of the River Seine.
