Berndette Rogers from Woodfood Halse says her her civil partnership meant the "system looked at us as people". Ms Rogers, 86, and her late wife Joyce were one of the first couples to tie the knot when the partnerships were brought in 10 years ago. She told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Look East's Stuart Ratcliffe the partnership provide them with financial security and that the local community was "very supportive".
