Nihal

Available for over a year

An article in The Times of India raises an issue that might initially surprise you - it's spoken to a number of people getting divorced after their honeymoon. But if you scratch the surface it's easy to see why. A lot of these people say that they felt as though they were sexually incompatible - in some instances they didn't know each other very well - and the first real intimacy they had was on their wedding night. Sex wasn't the only reason, but it was certainly stated as one of the main reasons for marital breakups Does this come as a surprise? Are we often too dismissive of the importance about the physical side of a relationship? Is Asian culture simply too prudish about sex? Or have attitudes changed? Three callers share their views with Nihal
