Klopp can get 'a big dollop of money' for Benteke

5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

Pat Nevin believes Jurgen Klopp could sell striker Christian Benteke for “a big dollop” of money to make funds available for new Liverpool players. Belgium forward Benteke, 25, who has been out of favour with the new Liverpool manager, has started both FA Cup ties against Exeter where his manager has fielded a vastly inexperienced side. "It seems quite clear Benteke is being used as an impact player," Nevin told 5 live Sport’s Mark Pougatch. He added: "Benteke's not really a Klopp-style player, it may well be that Klopp will go and get a big dollop of money for him and then go and spend it on the players he feels suit." This clip is from 5 live Sport on Wednesday 20 January 2016.
