Verity Smith hopes her ‪#‎BeatTheBlindfold‬ protest will overturn a controversial new ruling which was introduced two thirds of the way through the current Paralympic training cycle. It says blind riders in her classification must wear a blindfold while competing. A spokesperson from the International Paralympic Committee says blindfolds are commonplace in other sports.
