The deepest working mine in the world and the idea of black empowerment in South Africa. TauTona, owned by Anglo Gold lies about 70 kilometres west of Johannesburg. In the programme a reporter is led along the mine by one of the managers, who is white, like most of the senior staff. This is despite the owner's pledge to make the workforce representative of the country's population
