FIFA still hasn't learned the lessons

Sport Today

Available for over a year

The first and perhaps only opportunity to hear the men who want to be FIFA President debating how they'd run the global game has been lost. A televised debate between the candidates has been cancelled, after all but one of them withdrew. One of them, Jerome Champagne will still attend and speak at Wednesday's event in Brussels. The debate was organised by Members of the European Parliament and 'New FIFA Now'. The co-founder of that campaign group is the former football administrator, Bonita Mersiades.
