Former Scottish International rugby player Kenny Logan spoke about how he left school with "zero qualifications" because of his dyslexia. He described the "humiliation" he felt which lead him to "leave school and never go back" after struggling to write his name and address during an English exam. Speaking to 5 live's Nicky Campbell, Logan also said "the world fell out" of him when his wife Gabby found out he couldn't read in the early stages of their relationship. "I asked her, 'do you still want to go out with me?' and she said, 'why would I not?'" Logan's comments come after a woman with dyslexia won a discrimination case against Starbucks. Meseret Kumulchew took the firm to an employment tribunal after she was disciplined for falsifying documents but it was found she'd been discriminated against because of her difficulties with reading, writing and telling the time.
